Piano introduction lessons for Elementary students

PIano introduction lessons for elementary students. Hello and welcome to your first piano lesson! Today we will learn all about the different keys on the piano and keyboard. The piano is a wonderful instrument with 88 keys that produce beautiful sounds when played. There are also 76 and 61 keys keyboards available.

The piano has two types of keys: black and white. The white keys are called natural keys and are in row 7 and are repeated again and again on the keyboard. The black keys are called sharp or flat keys and are placed between the natural keys in twos and threes. There are two patterns of black keys, one keys of 2 and then keys of 3 and then keys of 2 and keys of 3 and this pattern repeats. Did you see these patterns?

Now let's learn some notes. The notes we are learning today are C, D, E, F and G. Each of these notes corresponds to a specific pitch on the piano. You press the keys with your fingers and play the notes out loud.

We use finger numbers so you remember which finger to use for which key. Your thumb is number 1, your index finger is 2, your middle finger is 3, your ring finger is, and your ring finger is 5.

So, for example, to play the note C, you use finger number 1 ( the thumb) to press the left of the two black keys located white key. To play the note D, press the number 2 finger (index finger) to press the next white key to the right of the first black key. And so on, using different fingers for different keys. Now try playing C D E F G on your keyboard.

Now we combine these notes into a simple model. Let's start with the note C, then move to the note D, then E, F and G. This pattern repeats all the way up and down the keyboard. Learning this pattern and the finger numbers for each key is important because it will help you play simple songs and melodies with both your left and right hands.

So, let's get started and enjoy learning about the piano and its wonderful music!
